This Osprey was airing itself out on a perch near the bean field after taking a dive (unsuccessful) for fish in the back channel, Oct 22 2008.
After airing, preening and fluffing, it went back to fishing...

and flew off, scattering birds in his wake to a spot where he wouldn't be bothered :o( .
