Steve Wolfe > Mina the female Kaiser Red-tail Hawk sometimes perches on a light pole near Harbor Park across from Kaiser Hospital scanning the ground for prey.  I never know when she'll be there, and it usually seems to happen on cloudy days, but this time it was a blue sky with the sun behind and to the left of me. I pre-focused on the still Mina, made a double-check for my BIF settings...and waited...and waited...
