Willie looks abashed as Mina continues her tirade.

Willie seems proud of his catch but Mina seems to be thinking "Why, this is only an appetizer!"

Mina the female Kaiser Red-tail Hawk sometimes perches on a light pole near Harbor Park across from Kaiser Hospital scanning the ground for prey.  I never know when she'll be there, and it usually seems to happen on cloudy days, but this time it was a blue sky with the sun behind and to the left of me. I pre-focused on the still Mina, made a double-check for my BIF settings...and waited...and waited...
